Halloween Give-Away!

So, having just finished up with our September Give-Away, its time to announce and get going with our October Give-Away!

This one is much simpler than the last. All you have to do to be entered into the drawing, is answer the following question:

What is your favorite way to celebrate Halloween?

Winner will be selected next Friday, so you will have your gift before Halloween.

So, what will you win? This Boo-tiful Gift set, the same style as those offered in our Etsy shop's Holiday Section. A 17.50 retail value, this ceramic dish comes filled with Eucalyptus Spearmint goodness. You'll get a full size 8oz Luxurious Body Cream, and a full size 4.5oz bar of Eucalyptus Spearmint Silky Shea Butter soap. So, be sure to tell us what your favorite way to celebrate Halloween is!

Wow, what way do I *not* celebrate Halloween?!

My decorations were already up before October 1st! My family and I create crafts all month. We always have a party of some size. We make and decorate cookies and cupcakes all through the month - it's not Thanksgiving that makes us gain weight, lol!

Plus this year, I'm giving stuff away on my blog every day in October - because I'm that much of a Halloween junkie!

I love to make Halloween sugar cookies and to check out all the costumes on the little tots. During the actual trick or treat part of Halloween, I spend it downstairs with the furbabies since they freak out over all those cute little costumes coming to the door! Hubby gets to pass out the treats in our house.

We celebrate by going pumpkin picking, going to a big party at the zoo called Boo at the Zoo and by decorating to scary music!

My husband and I always rent some of the "classic" scary movies from the 80's (the Nightmare on elm street, Halloween, Poltergeist, Troll type) and watch it after dark.

We decorate the house with Halloween candles, tablecloth, and spookies. We make up goody bags for the neighbor kids and take our youngest out for some trick-or-treating. Hubby and I rent scary movies and watch them once we put the boys to bed. I love this time of year!

My favorite way to celebrate Halloween is with a How to Host a Murder mystery party. Everyone dresses up like a character from the provided story, and tries to figure out who "killed" the victim! People have great fun, and really get into their roles.

On Halloween, I come home from work (school because I am a teacher) and I put on a witch costume. Then I go and meet all of the trick or treaters with the candy bowl.

My favorite way to celebrate Halloween is to decorate the house!! Then, every year I have to carve a pumpkin using a stencil carving kit! Every year, I try something a little more difficult than the year before! This year, I will attempt to carve the letters "Happy Halloween"! :)

I always hand out chicken salad sandwiches to frazzled parents who have spent dinner hour dressing goblins and witches. The kids get candy treats, the parents get a snack.

We have a huge party. I cook and clean for weeks and we invite everyone we know (and some we don't) Our kids host the children who come with parents and we adult gossip, eat and drink. My kids say we are the Addamms Family! October 25th is the party this year. Come on over!

Gosh, how I love this question! My perfect Halloween (and the week preceding it!) is to binge on candy in front of a horror movie (or Simpsons Halloween Special) right before bed :) There is no finer way to have nightmares, hee hee !!

My 3 children and 6 grandkids all come to my house for Witches Brew and Pumpkin cake and a party. the little ones come early and the older ones come after trick or treating. It started out to be a family affair , now we get friends and neighbors as well. I love Halloween and am always looking for cool new things

A friend of ours has a Halloween celebration every year, complete with wonderful decorations, soaring bonfire, and... well, sometimes drunken naked people running about. Regardless! I look forward to his party every year, especially considering his new house is in the middle of the woods, and we can get as loud and late as we'd like!
